The digital Stone Age
What decade are we actually living in?
A company has 800 Crystal Reports and wants to recreate everything manually.
Old SAP world.
No longer really supported.
Plan:
Recreate everything manually in Power BI.
With seven people.
In nine months.
I just thought:
What decade are we living in?
Seven people for six to nine months.
Just to type out what already exists 1:1.
That’s not a transformation project.
That’s the digital Stone Age.
My estimate?
- Four weeks.
- Automated.
- With clean modeling and support from LLMs.
But that’s exactly where the problem lies:
Many people still think in terms of manpower.
Not in terms of systems.
I said right away:
Let’s make a fixed-price offer.
Because you can only win if you understand how automation really works.
Where do you automate in your company?
